Moroni sets two Italian masters records in Ancona
The second championship day brings nine national age-group records across running, jumping and combined events.

Maria Costanza Moroni set an Italian W55 pentathlon record of 4,057 points on the second day of the national masters indoor championships in Ancona. She improved the previous mark of 3,906 and began the competition with another record in the hurdles.
Moroni’s 10.16 over 60m hurdles cut three hundredths from her own age-group best. The former international triple jumper, who represented Italy at the 1998 European Championships, competed for Gs Ermenegildo Zegna.
The session produced nine Italian age-group records in total. Antonella Sant jumped 8.84m in the W65 triple jump, while Maria Grazia Rafti reached 7.52m in the W75 category. Miriam Di Iorio lowered the W60 200m mark to 28.45.
