Tomofumi Naito earned his first individual World Cup podium and victory in Oslo, where high winds limited competition to one round. The thirty-three-year-old Japanese jumper scored 128.7 points from 131.5 metres, winning a narrowly separated contest at Holmenkollen.

Anze Lanisek finished second, only 0.1 points behind Naito. Finland’s Antti Aalto claimed his first individual World Cup podium in third, one point behind Lanisek after a 131-metre jump. Naoki Nakamura placed fourth, also reaching 131 metres.

The victory followed Gregor Deschwanden’s maiden World Cup win at the same venue a day earlier. Overall champion Domen Prevc, who had led qualification, finished ninth in the wind-affected competition, while Tate Frantz achieved a first tenth-place World Cup result.
