Nana Kyei goal sends Potters Bar past Dartford
The hosts held on for a 1–0 victory despite second-half pressure.
Source publication date:
Potters Bar Town defeated Dartford 1–0 after Nana Kyei scored the only goal early in the first half. Joe Re's run and cross set up the finish in the 11th minute, and the hosts protected their lead through the remainder of the contest.
Dartford included new arrivals Dave Winfield and Rohan Vaughan in the starting side. Vaughan and Dan Smith threatened before and after the opening goal, but goalkeeper Josh Shattell made several saves to keep the visitors out.
Manager Ady Pennock changed personnel and formation as Dartford sought an equaliser. Shattell later tipped Samuel Okoye's long-range shot away, while Eddie Dsane and Joe Tennent also went close in added time. Potters Bar retained their clean sheet.
