NBL reported record attendance for a third consecutive season, with more than 1.1 million spectators attending games. The league said the total represented a six per cent increase from the previous season as the championship series between Sydney and Adelaide continued.

The league's broadcast figures also rose. Streamed matches on ESPN increased twenty per cent, while average Network 10 audiences grew twenty-two per cent year on year, extending the reported growth beyond people watching inside the arenas.

Chief executive David Stevenson linked the results to interest in basketball and the league's wider reputation. He identified innovation and year-round engagement across the NBL, WNBL and NBL1 as continuing priorities, while describing further broadcast growth as an ambition for the organisation.
