New Zealand named its men's and women's squads for the 2026 3x3 Asia Cup, retaining six players from the previous edition. The men's team paired Te Tuhi Lewis, Christian Martin and Aidan Tonge with Josh Book, who earned his first senior selection.

Lewis, Martin and Tonge had helped secure bronze in 2025. Book joined them after an impressive under-23 season that included a seventeen point performance against Serbia at the age group World Cup.

The women's selection brought Ella Fotu back after injury alongside Azure Anderson, Eva Langton and Sharne Robati. High performance manager Nikolay Mikhalchuk placed the Asia Cup within a busy programme building toward the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, while the men's pool included Qatar and the women's included Mongolia.
