Graeme Carrick led sessions on developing older youth players.
Source publication date:
About ninety coaches attended the Faroese federation’s annual children’s and youth football conference. The event combined presentations, pitch sessions and opportunities for coaches to exchange experiences, continuing a programme held nine times during the previous ten years.
HB coaches worked with the federation on the opening day’s presentations and training. The principal guest, English coach Graeme Carrick, focused in his sessions on developing players in the later youth years, bringing experience from coaching at high levels in England.
Skála and AB also presented aspects of youth work that had proved effective within their clubs. Federation representatives discussed the Droym Stórt project and initiatives addressing fair play for children and safe sport, linking practical development with welfare and the playing environment.
