A half-second Oslo victory completed the Swede’s first sprint and pursuit double.
Source publication date:
Hanna Oeberg won her first World Cup pursuit at Holmenkollen, finishing the women’s ten-kilometre race in 30:14. Julia Simon followed half a second behind, while Elvira Oeberg took third at 23.2 seconds. The winner incurred three penalties against one each for her closest rivals.
Hanna and Simon remained closely matched through the second prone and first standing stages. Both missed once in the final standing bout and left the penalty loop together, with the Swede gaining the decisive advantage on the last major climb.
The result completed Hanna’s first sprint and pursuit double and brought her career victories to fifteen. Lou Jeanmonnot finished fourth, 57.2 seconds behind, earning enough points to secure the pursuit Crystal Globe.
