Osakue collects tenth Italian discus title
The winter throws finale also delivered victories for Frattini and Costa.

Daisy Osakue won her tenth Italian discus title at the Winter Throwing Championships in Mariano Comense. The Olympic finalist reached 59.79 metres, while Benedetta Benedetti improved her personal best by more than a metre to take second with 58.17.
Emily Conte completed the senior discus podium at 55.93 metres. Sofia Coppari won the under-twenty-three competition with a personal best of 54.98, finishing ahead of Martina Kopsch and Aurora Pongiluppi in the younger category.
Giovanni Frattini took the senior javelin title with 76.38 metres, surpassing Michele Fina’s 75.93. Davide Costa won the hammer with 69.59 ahead of Giorgio Olivieri and Giacomo Proserpio, while Pietro Villa’s 71.33 led the youth javelin competition.
