Osasuna defeated Real Madrid 2-1 at El Sadar, ending the visitors’ sequence of eight consecutive La Liga victories. Raul Garcia scored in the ninetieth minute after Vinicius Junior had cancelled Ante Budimir’s first-half penalty, leaving Madrid without a late response.

Budimir put the hosts ahead after a video review led to a penalty against Thibaut Courtois. Madrid created chances before and after that decision but trailed at the interval. Their equaliser came in the 73rd minute from Vinicius, supplied by Federico Valverde.

Madrid continued to pursue a winner, with Kylian Mbappe seeing an effort cleared from the line. Osasuna instead found the decisive goal at the other end as Garcia settled the match in the closing minutes.
