Osijek youth event opens with record participation

The European Youth Series opened its 2026 season in Osijek with 212 players, a participation record for the Croatian event and the wider circuit. The tournament began on 3 February and was scheduled to continue through 7 February, combining mixed-team and individual competition.
The announced field represented twenty-seven countries, extending the event’s international reach. Croatia hosted the series opener for a fourth consecutive year, with Osijek again providing the venue for its youth competition programme.
Under 13 and Under 15 mixed teams began with group matches before the knockout stages. Singles and doubles were scheduled to start on Thursday, with individual finals on Saturday following the completion of the team events.
