Osorio saves three match points to defeat Jovic at Indian Wells
The Colombian’s comeback set a third-round meeting with Naomi Osaka.

Camila Osorio defeated Iva Jovic 4–6, 7–6(4), 6–3 to reach the Indian Wells third round for the first time. The Colombian saved three match points while Jovic served at 5–4 in the second set during a two-hour-thirty-nine-minute comeback.
Osorio converted all five break chances and saved eleven of fifteen against her serve. After taking the second-set tiebreak, she established a 4–0 deciding-set lead, resisted a late Jovic recovery to 4–3 and then secured another break to finish.
Naomi Osaka advanced with a 7–5, 6–2 win over Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva, setting up their next meeting. Osaka survived a recovery from 5–2 down in the first set and won the final four games in the second during her return to competition after Australia.
