Palio dei Comuni opens entries for youth relay at Golden Gala
Municipal teams can race at Rome’s Olympic Stadium and watch the international meeting on 4 June.

Entries opened for the Palio dei Comuni youth relay, which will precede the Golden Gala at Rome’s Olympic Stadium on 4 June. Each municipality can enter a 12x200m team of six boys and six girls born in 2012, 2013 or 2014.
Heats begin at 16:00, with the nine fastest teams progressing to a final within the Golden Gala programme. Registration closes on 29 May, subject to available places, and the winning team will receive its award from a special guest.
Participation includes fourteen tickets to watch the Diamond League meeting: twelve for the runners and two for accompanying adults. Municipalities can also purchase discounted tickets for selected stadium areas at five euros without booking fees. The initiative connects school-age athletes and local clubs with Italy’s international athletics meeting.
