European Aquatics published the detailed schedule for its Paris championships from 31 July to 16 August. Artistic swimming and diving begin the programme, followed by open water in the Seine and swimming at the Olympic Aquatics Centre, bringing the disciplines into a coordinated seventeen-day event.

The swimming programme starts on 10 August and ends with nine consecutive finals on the closing evening. The final-day races include the men’s two-hundred-metre individual medley and four-by-one-hundred-metre medley relay, while freestyle finals are distributed through the week.

Open water runs from 4 to 8 August, with ten-kilometre, five-kilometre, knockout and mixed relay events. A rest day on 6 August separates the opening distance races from the knockout contests on 7 August and mixed relays on 8 August.
