Dominik Paris won the final men’s downhill in Kvitfjell, beating Franjo von Allmen by 0.19 seconds and Vincent Kriechmayr by 0.60. His first World Cup victory of the season was his seventh overall at the Norwegian resort and fifth there in downhill during his career.

Paris recorded the fastest first and final sectors while finishing among the leading six in every timed section. Von Allmen came within four-hundredths at the last intermediate checkpoint but could not recover the remaining gap, following difficult results in both training runs on softer snow.

Marco Odermatt finished seventh and received his already-secured third consecutive downhill globe. Von Allmen ended second in the season standings, Paris third for the seventh time and Kriechmayr fourth after the finale.
