Source publication date:
Aldershot Town beat Yeovil Town 2–1 at Huish Park, with Sean Patton forcing home the winning goal during a second-half scramble. The rearranged fixture was level at halftime before the visitors' sustained pressure eventually brought the decisive finish.
Olly Scott opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a shot from the edge of the area. Terrell Works responded before the half-hour, cutting in from the left and firing a powerful long-range effort beyond the goalkeeper.
Jed Ward kept Yeovil in contention with several stops after the break, including a recovery to prevent a possible own goal. Patton scored with fifteen minutes remaining, and Aldershot managed the closing stages to preserve their advantage through added time.
