Perth secures fourth place with home win over Adelaide
Pepper and Lual-Acuil helped the Wildcats resist a late challenge at RAC Arena.

Perth defeated Adelaide 86–74 at RAC Arena in the final NBL regular-season game, securing fourth place and a seeding qualifier against South East Melbourne. The Wildcats finished 21–12, while Adelaide remained second at 23–10 without injured star Bryce Cotton.
Elijah Pepper scored 22 with six three-pointers, Jo Lual-Acuil Jr added 21 and Jesse Wagstaff supplied 18 points and seven rebounds in his 536th appearance. Wagstaff helped reverse Adelaide’s early 9–0 start before Perth established a 19-point third-quarter advantage.
Adelaide cut the margin to three in the final period, but Lual-Acuil’s 13 fourth-quarter points helped Perth finish the job. Nick Rakocevic led the visitors with 18 as they turned toward the Ignite Cup final and subsequent playoffs.
