David Reitšpies claimed his third men’s national championship, beating Pavel Širuček in the final. The El Niňo Prague player’s victory followed a tournament in which favourite Lubomír Jančařík lost in the third round to Ondřej Květon, opening the men’s title race.
Štěpán Brhel and Martin Šíp won men’s doubles, while Hanka Kodet and Veronika Poláková claimed women’s doubles. Brhel also partnered Grofová for mixed doubles gold. The doubles programme gave the women’s singles runner-up a championship and made Brhel a two-event winner.
