Phoenix makes 20 three-pointers in win over Tasmania

South East Melbourne defeated Tasmania 120–104 at John Cain Arena after making 20 three-pointers. The Phoenix stayed in contention for a top-two NBL finish, while the JackJumpers secured sixth place following New Zealand’s separate defeat by Adelaide.
Angus Glover made seven of ten from long range for 21 points. Nathan Sobey added 19 and nine assists, and Malique Lewis scored 15. South East Melbourne produced 70 points across the middle two quarters and led by as many as 26.
Majok Deng scored a career-high 36 for Tasmania, including 20 in the opening quarter, and added nine rebounds. The Phoenix improved to 22–10 ahead of the final Melbourne derby, while Tasmania prepared for one remaining regular-season game and the postseason.
