Polar Bears complete women’s Euro Cup quarterfinal field
A decisive victory over Lille secured the last available place.

Polar Bears claimed the last women’s Euro Cup quarterfinal place by defeating Lille 17–4 on the final group day in Ede. Ten Dutch players scored as the hosts answered an early equaliser with ten successive goals, taking an 11–1 lead.
BVSC completed its group programme with four victories after edging Glyfada 13–12. Zoe Lendvay scored the winner with twenty-nine seconds remaining, giving the Hungarian club twelve points and matching Ethnikos’s perfect record in another group.
Padova beat Grand Nancy 23–6, while Catalunya defeated Kerulet 16–9. The completed quarterfinal field comprised Polar Bears, Ethnikos, BVSC, Glyfada, Barceloneta, Padova, Trieste and Catalunya, with the draw announced for 2 March.
