Nika Prevc won the second women’s World Cup competition in Lahti with 282 points, completing a weekend double for the second consecutive season. Jumps of 130 and 128.5 metres secured the highest scores in both rounds and a 14.5-point advantage over Anna Odine Stroem.

Nozomi Maruyama rose from fifth at halfway to third, finishing 29.9 points behind Prevc. Abigail Strate placed fourth for her strongest result in more than two months, while Selina Freitag finished fifth and Nika Vodan slipped from third to eleventh.

The victory was Prevc’s sixteenth of the season, surpassing the previous women’s record of fifteen shared with Sara Takanashi. The Slovenian had already clinched her third consecutive overall Crystal Globe through victory in the separate opening Lahti event.
