Nika Prevc recovered from fifth after the opening round to win the women’s World Cup competition in Oslo. Her final jump of 127 metres, the longest of the day, secured a seventeenth victory of the season after she had already clinched the overall title.

Nozomi Maruyama finished second with 226.1 points, 2.4 behind the Slovenian, and Anna Odine Stroem took third. Maruyama had led with a 124.5-metre opening jump but could not retain first place after reaching 122.5 metres on her second attempt.

Stroem’s result moved her ahead of Lisa Eder into third overall. Agnes Reisch made the largest advance, rising from thirteenth to fourth with 125.5 metres. Four Norwegian jumpers finished among the leading ten on their home hill.
