The Indian teenager’s Squash on Fire final featured twenty-six winners against seven unforced errors.
Source publication date:
PSA published a Cross Court Analytics examination of Anahat Singh’s playing style after her Squash on Fire Open title. The seventeen-year-old had entered the top twenty, beating Sabrina Sobhy in the semifinals and Georgina Kennedy 12–10, 11–5, 11–7 in the final.
Analyst Jesse Mills counted twenty-six Singh winners and seven unforced errors, compared with Kennedy’s nine winners and six errors. More than seventy percent of Singh’s shots immediately preceding winners came from behind the service box, highlighting how she created attacking opportunities from deep positions.
The analysis described Singh’s willingness to lift the ball in defence and vary between attacking and resetting rallies. It found that Kennedy volleyed more frequently, while Singh’s effective finishing converted a similar or lower volume of short attacks into more winners during that particular match.
