Puppo and Maldonado win Joinville Silver title
The Argentine partnership defeated Franco Dal Bianco and Martin Abud in three sets.

Luciano Puppo and Maximo Maldonado won FIP Silver Joinville by defeating Franco Dal Bianco and Martin Abud 6–4, 1–6, 6–3. The Argentine partnership took the deciding set after its opponents levelled the men’s final with a dominant second set in Brazil.
Puppo and Maldonado had beaten Gonzalo Rubio and Agustín Torre 7–6, 6–4 in the semifinals. Dal Bianco and Abud reached the final by defeating second seeds Jose Jiménez and Maxi Sanchez Blasco by the same score, removing the previous December’s CUPRA FIP Finals champions.
Maldonado said the title followed a difficult start to the year and thanked the team and supporters around him. Puppo celebrated the partnership’s effort. The two had already won Bronze titles in Viña del Mar in September and Santiago de Chile in October 2025.
