Rabanser and Von Siebenthal win junior parallel slalom titles
The Folgaria finals produced a home breakthrough and another Swiss women’s gold.

Tommy Rabanser won the men’s parallel slalom at the Junior World Championships in Folgaria after Walker Overstake missed a gate late in their closely matched final. The Italian claimed his first junior world gold, while Overstake finished the weekend with three silver medals across the championship programme.
Ilia Khurtin received bronze following a collision in the small final, with Krystof Minarik disqualified for interference. Rabanser had reached the final by defeating Minarik, while Overstake advanced through a semifinal victory over Khurtin on the technical course.
Xenia von Siebenthal won the women’s title, beating Mariia Travinicheva by 0.16 seconds. It was her third parallel slalom junior gold in four editions, with Zoe Jansing taking her first championship medal through bronze.
