Rai 1 scheduled a television film about Olympic race-walking champion Abdon Pamich for 10 February. The production followed his departure from Fiume after the war and his later athletics career, culminating in the 1964 Tokyo Olympic 50km walking title.
The film was directed by Alessandro Casale and produced by Clemart with Rai Fiction. Pamich and actor Fausto Sciarappa were listed among the participants, with the broadcast placed in the evening programme for Italy’s Day of Remembrance.
FIDAL highlighted the connection between Pamich’s sporting achievements and the personal experiences that shaped his life. The federation also provided access information for the film through RaiPlay, extending the opportunity to view the athletics biography beyond its television premiere.
