Real Madrid Women finish perfect February against Tenerife
Redondo and Angeldahl scored in a 2-0 home win.
Source publication date:
Real Madrid Women beat Tenerife 2-0 at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium to complete a month of four league victories. Pau Quesada’s side had already defeated Deportivo, Espanyol and Alhama before adding another three points in their twenty-first Liga F fixture.
Tenerife lost Moreno to an early red card after a challenge on Linda Caicedo was reviewed using Football Video Support. Caicedo had to be replaced by Alba Redondo, but Madrid could not break through before half-time despite creating chances and striking the post.
Redondo scored immediately after the interval, finishing Sara Dabritz’s pass. Filippa Angeldahl added the second after Eva Navarro’s shot was saved, and Madrid retained that advantage for their sixteenth league win.
