Riyadh prepares new pairs and new scoring for season opener
The first Premier Padel tournament of 2026 introduces Star Point to the circuit.

Premier Padel prepared to open its 2026 season in Riyadh with new partnerships and the introduction of the Star Point scoring system. Saudi Arabia again hosted the first stop on a circuit scheduled to finish with the Finals in Barcelona.
Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia led the 48-pair men’s field, with the top sixteen teams entering directly in the second round. Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan were seeded second, ahead of the reunited Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas.
Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay headed the women’s list. Former partners Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez entered with Bea Gonzalez and Andrea Ustero respectively, creating the possibility of their first meeting as opponents.
