Source publication date:
Alex Ruiz and Juanlu Esbri won the FIP Gold in Ponta Delgada by defeating Marc Quilez and Federico Mouriño 6–4, 7–6. A break in the eighth game decided the opening set, and the second required a tiebreak at Azores Padel Club.
The victory was Ruiz and Esbri’s second title together after FIP Platinum Lyon the previous October. Both described improving through the tournament, with Esbri celebrating his first visit to the Azores and Ruiz noting the partnership’s growing confidence during the week.
Patty Llaguno and Martina Fassio won women’s gold without dropping a set in five matches, conceding just thirteen games overall. They defeated Lucía Martínez and Águeda Pérez 6–3, 6–2 in the final and earned 150 ranking points. Fassio had also won Ponta Delgada in 2025.
