RunTogether recruits community content creators
The initiative will share local running-group stories through national channels.
Source publication date:
England Athletics invited runners and run leaders to apply as content creators for its RunTogether community. Successful applicants will film short videos with their groups and share them with the federation for use on national social-media channels, highlighting the local impact of social running.
Suggested subjects include food-bank runs, group social events, charity fundraising and RunAndTalk sessions. The recruitment is aimed at people already involved in the community who want to document their experience and help demonstrate accessible opportunities for runners of different abilities.
Applicants must submit a form before receiving further guidance about providing their material. The federation presented the opportunity as a way to develop storytelling skills, represent a local group and encourage participation, linking individual contributions with a wider effort to communicate community running activities.
