Rybakina and Kalinskaya reach Doha quarterfinals
Rybakina survived a late Zheng recovery before Kalinskaya defeated Svitolina in straight sets.

Elena Rybakina defeated Zheng Qinwen 4–6, 6–2, 7–5 to reach the Doha quarterfinals. The Australian Open champion recovered from losing the opening set, then survived Zheng’s late charge from 5–2 down in the decider before finishing after two hours and twenty-seven minutes.
Rybakina won five consecutive points from 40–0 down on Zheng’s serve in the final game. The result extended her winning run to nine matches and secured a quarterfinal against Victoria Mboko.
Anna Kalinskaya subsequently defeated Elina Svitolina 6–4, 6–3 for her first win against the Ukrainian. Kalinskaya converted four of five break points and advanced to face Karolina Muchova in her first Doha quarterfinal.
