Rybakina recovers against Pegula for fifth consecutive rivalry win
The Kazakh player secured a third Miami semifinal after two hours fifteen minutes.

Elena Rybakina defeated Jessica Pegula 2–6, 6–3, 6–4 to reach her third Miami Open semifinal. The two-hour-fifteen-minute quarterfinal extended her winning streak against the American to five matches and moved their overall professional head-to-head to 6–3.
Pegula controlled the opening set with only two unforced errors and six points lost on serve. Rybakina’s escape from three break points at 2–2 in the second changed the match, helping her take seven of the next eight games.
Rybakina protected a 3–1 deciding-set lead despite sustained pressure and finished with fifteen aces. Pegula won more total points, 100 to ninety-eight, but could not reverse the result. Rybakina advanced to face Aryna Sabalenka in another chapter of their leading rivalry.
