The European Table Tennis Union’s Executive Board confirmed Saarbrücken as host for the next two editions of the men’s Champions League Final Four. The decision continued the event’s relationship with Saarlandhalle, which has staged the competition since the format began in 2024.
ETTU President Pedro Moura cited the city and club’s reliability in explaining the choice. The Final Four gathers Europe’s four leading teams in one venue, with previous editions attracting thousands of spectators from the local area and elsewhere across the continent.
Saarbrücken team manager and organising head Nicolas Barrois said the 2026 edition would be sold out and expressed hopes for further full houses. He also acknowledged support from the Saarland state government as the club prepared to continue hosting the European title weekend.
