European Universities Games reveal completed Salerno podiums
The July update covered university champions while remaining tournaments continued.

By 29 July, the European Universities Games in Salerno had crowned champions in basketball, futsal, padel, table tennis, volleyball and beach handball. The Games covered thirteen sports and continued through 1 August.
The University of Valencia won women’s basketball and the University of Bologna took men’s basketball. Volleyball golds went to Bologna’s women and Montpellier’s men, while Croatian universities Zagreb and Split won women’s and men’s futsal respectively.
The opening ceremony brought together 3,000 student-athletes from 171 universities across 31 countries. FISU and EUSA also signed a memorandum on 19 July; the report distinguished completed podiums from sports whose competitions were still underway.
