Seventeen-year-old Rivas wins first senior circuit title in Helsingborg

Samu Rivas won his first CUPRA FIP Tour title at seventeen years old in Helsingborg. He partnered Nico Zurita to defeat favourites Víctor Mena and Marcos González 5–7, 7–6, 6–4 in the men’s final, recovering from an opening-set defeat.
Rivas and Zurita had also come from behind in the semifinals, beating Luis Oliver Artigas and Izan Ranera 4–6, 6–3, 6–2. Zurita collected his fifth career circuit title and first of 2026, while Rivas celebrated the work behind his first professional championship.
Mónica Gómez and Claudia Escacena won the women’s title after their previous success in Houten. They beat top seeds Lara Arruabarrena and Marina Lobo 6–4, 5–7, 6–3 in the final, following a 6–1, 6–2 semifinal victory over Clarinha Santos and Paula Ferran.
