Singh and Elshorbagy win Squash on Fire titles
Both Washington finals ended in straight games as Singh claimed her first World Event trophy.

Anahat Singh and Mohamed Elshorbagy won the Squash on Fire Open titles in Washington. Singh defeated Georgina Kennedy 12–10, 11–5, 11–7, while Elshorbagy beat Declan James 11–4, 11–6, 11–8 to complete a day of straight-games championship matches.
Singh saved two game balls in the opener before taking control through attacking variation. The Indian teenager secured her first World Event title and fifteenth overall PSA trophy in only her twenty-sixth tournament appearance.
Elshorbagy collected his fifty-second tour title after maintaining the form that had taken him past Fares Dessouky in the semifinal. James offered stronger resistance in the third game, but the top seed finished the match in thirty-eight minutes.
