Basil Tuma and Jaiden Drakes-Thomas scored in a 2–1 victory.
Source publication date:
Slough Town beat Maidstone United 2–1 after overturning a first-half deficit at the Gallagher Stadium. John Gilbert had given the hosts the lead in the 39th minute, finishing from close range after Deon Moore's effort was saved.
Maidstone goalkeeper Nathan Harness protected that advantage before the interval, recovering after an effort from Wiktor Makowski. Slough equalised in the 61st minute when Makowski supplied Basil Tuma, who finished calmly after the visitors broke forward.
Substitute Ruben Shakpoke then worked past David Agbontohoma and pulled the ball back for Jaiden Drakes-Thomas to score the winner in the 71st minute. Maidstone made several changes and pushed through nine added minutes, but Adam Desbois denied a late Riley Court free kick.
