Snowfall delays Olympic aerials qualifying
Officials postponed both qualification events after heavy overnight snow in Livigno.

Officials postponed the Olympic men’s and women’s aerials qualification rounds after heavy snowfall in Livigno. Snow accumulated overnight and continued during the morning, causing delays that left insufficient time to complete the planned competition programme.
The revised schedule placed women’s qualification on 18 February, with the first round at 10:00, a second round at 10:45 and finals at 13:00. Men’s qualification and finals were initially moved to the following day under the announcement.
The jury’s decision followed an assessment of the available competition conditions. FIS said officials would continue monitoring the weather and publish any further adjustments, making the postponement a confirmed programme change rather than a change to the athletes’ qualification status.
