Spennymoor add experienced defender Tom Broadbent
The centre-back signed through the end of the season.

Spennymoor Town signed centre-back Tom Broadbent until the end of the season to strengthen their defensive options. The 33-year-old most recently played for Tow Law Town after ending a three-year spell at South Shields the previous summer.
Broadbent developed in the academy systems at Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth before gaining senior non-League experience. He later served in the Army before turning professional with Bristol Rovers in 2017 and subsequently joining Swindon Town.
His later career included Eastleigh and South Shields, where he won promotion from the Northern Premier League. Manager Graeme Lee highlighted his leadership and familiarity with the division. Broadbent received squad number eighteen and became available for the Peterborough Sports fixture.
