Source publication date:
Puskás Akadémia were eliminated from the UEFA Youth League after Sporting scored a decisive goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time. The round-of-thirty-two match in Felcsút remained level until the final moments before the Portuguese visitors secured progression.
After a goalless first half, Sporting took the lead in the 53rd minute. Puskás responded thirteen minutes later when Budai finished Krupa's pass, restoring parity and keeping hopes of another successful knockout result alive.
Sporting gained a numerical advantage in the 90th minute. A penalty shootout appeared likely before their late goal decided the single-match tie. Puskás had previously advanced against Brann and FCSB, but could not continue into the competition's last sixteen.
