Tina Stuffer won her first senior Alpine Luge World Cup race in Umhausen, one week after becoming junior world champion. Her 2:32.86 total beat Lisa Walch by five hundredths, with Riccarda Ruetz third, 0.46 seconds behind.

Fabian Achenrainer won men’s singles in 2:31.01 after recovering from third at halfway. Daniel Gruber finished just two hundredths behind and Leon Auer earned his first career podium in third at the Grantau venue.

Tobias Paur and Andreas Hofer added a doubles eliminator victory to their win the previous evening, finishing in 1:19.30. The two-day programme therefore produced both a first senior victory for Stuffer and repeat successes for established men’s and doubles competitors.
