Sweden won the Otepää mixed relay in 1:16:32 despite an early setback, one penalty loop and sixteen spare rounds. Martin Ponsiluoma helped recover the team’s position before Elvira Oeberg’s final-leg shooting and skiing completed the turnaround, alongside Viktor Brandt and Anna-Karin Heijdenberg.

Switzerland finished second, 28.6 seconds behind, after Lena Häcki-Groß passed American anchor Margie Freed in the closing two hundred metres. The United States placed third at 34.6 seconds, claiming its first World Cup podium in the mixed relay discipline.

Norway finished sixth but secured the combined mixed relay season trophy, ending on 385 points against Sweden’s 376. Wind challenged the shooting throughout the race, with the Swiss using only six spare rounds to reach their second podium.
