Sweden sweeps opening junior moguls titles in Airolo
Nilsson became the first Swedish women’s champion as Moberg led the men’s final.

Nova Nilsson and Elis Moberg won the opening individual moguls titles at the Freestyle Junior World Championships in Airolo. Nilsson scored 70.94 points, becoming Sweden’s first women’s champion and the only competitor in her final to exceed the seventy-point mark.
American Abby Mclarnon took women’s silver on 69.73, while Japan’s Mio Tani earned bronze with 69.07. Nilsson’s breakthrough followed podium performances on the European Cup circuit and added a new women’s achievement to Sweden’s previous men’s junior championship successes.
Moberg led both qualification and the first final before winning gold with 79.47 points. His turns and aerial performance provided a clear advantage over Americans Porter Huff on 74.49 and Camden Lewis on 74.11, who completed the men’s podium.
