Sweden wins Kontiolahti women’s relay as France takes globe
Gestblom established the lead before the Oeberg sisters completed a dominant performance.

Sweden won the women’s four-by-six-kilometre relay in Kontiolahti in 1:09:33.2, using only four spare rounds. Linn Gestblom’s opening standing stage established a lead that Anna Magnusson, Hanna Oeberg and Elvira Oeberg retained through the remaining legs for their second relay victory of the season.
France finished second with six spare rounds, 42.6 seconds behind, and secured the relay season Crystal Globe. Norway placed third at 1:06.8 after one penalty loop and ten spares, with Maren Kirkeeide’s clean final standing stage lifting the team past Czechia.
Czechia finished fourth, while Poland recorded its best women’s relay result in eight years through fifth place. Hanna’s strong third leg extended Sweden’s advantage before Elvira brought the team home.
