Swiatek and Sakkari set Doha quarterfinal meeting
Both advanced after Swiatek recovered from an opening-set loss and Sakkari won in straight sets.

Iga Swiatek defeated Daria Kasatkina 5–7, 6–1, 6–1 to reach the Doha quarterfinals. The top seed lost four consecutive games from a 5–3 opening-set lead, but responded by conceding only two games across the remaining sets.
Swiatek converted eight of eighteen break points during the two-hour-and-seventeen-minute contest. The victory improved her tour record against Kasatkina to seven wins from eight meetings and brought a fifth quarterfinal appearance at the tournament.
Maria Sakkari advanced to face Swiatek by defeating Varvara Gracheva 7–5, 6–0. That result gave Sakkari three consecutive tour main-draw victories on hard courts for the first time since her run to the Indian Wells final in 2024.
