Chiara Von Moos and Celien Crettex won the mixed team title at the Ski Cross Junior World Championships in St Moritz. Their Swiss partnership qualified fourth, won its quarterfinal, placed second in the semifinal and recovered to take the final on home snow.
Von Moos earned a second gold after winning the women’s individual event the previous day. Canada’s Roxy Coatesworth and Beckett Mars took silver, while Germany’s Max Wizemann and Julia Machl completed the podium. Coatesworth added to her individual bronze medal.
The American pairing of Walker Robinson and Morgan Shute finished fourth despite leading qualification and winning its semifinal. Austria won the small final for fifth place. The mixed competition closed the championships after a format linking men’s finishing times to women’s starting advantages.
