Sydney beats Perth to regain NBL standings lead

Sydney defeated Perth 102–84 at Qudos Bank Arena to regain first place in the NBL standings with one regular-season game remaining. The Kings improved to 23–9 through their tenth consecutive victory and seventh straight triple-figure scoring performance.
Kendric Davis led with 30 points, ten assists and five rebounds, including six three-pointers. Makuach Maluach added 18, while Xavier Cooks recorded 14 points and ten rebounds. After trailing by one at the first break, Sydney tightened its defence and controlled the remaining quarters.
Kristian Doolittle contributed 19 points and nine rebounds for Perth, which was missing Ben Henshall and Dylan Windler. The Wildcats remained fourth at 20–12, with Melbourne United still able to challenge their position during the final round.
