Sydney opens NBL championship series with record 44 point win

Sydney defeated Adelaide 112–68 to open the NBL championship series with a record 44 point winning margin. The Kings led by twenty at half-time and started the second half with eight unanswered points, extinguishing the visitors' hopes of a comeback.
Kendric Davis recorded 25 points and seven assists, while Tim Soares added 22 points and eight rebounds on eight of ten shooting. Sydney made 66 per cent of its field goal attempts and thirteen of 24 three pointers.
Adelaide shot 35 per cent, with Isaac White leading its scorers on eleven points. Bryce Cotton was held to ten points and committed four turnovers under defensive pressure led by Matthew Dellavedova. The Kings extended a thirteen game winning streak with the opening series victory.
