Sydney wins regular-season title with 40-point Brisbane victory

Sydney defeated Brisbane 117–77 to secure the NBL regular-season championship and home-court advantage for its playoff series. The Kings finished 24–9 after their eleventh consecutive victory, while Brisbane ended 6–27 with 13 straight defeats.
Kendric Davis scored 27 before half-time and 31 overall, adding eight assists while shooting 13 of 15 from the field. Brisbane had led 33–26 after the first quarter, but Sydney turned the contest with a strong second period and a 59–27 second half.
Makuach Maluach added 15, Torrey Craig 14 and Xavier Cooks 13 for Sydney. Hunter Maldonado led Brisbane with 16. The Kings’ main setback was Tyler Robertson leaving with a shoulder injury during the fourth quarter.
