Real Madrid Castilla drew 1-1 with Real Aviles at Roman Suarez Puerta Stadium after losing a player early in the second half. Loren Zuniga scored the visitors’ opener but later received a straight red card, changing the shape of the contest.

Zuniga put Castilla ahead in the 31st minute by converting a rebound from Pol Fortuny’s saved shot. The striker threatened again before the break, while goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez kept Aviles out. Zuniga’s dismissal in the 56th minute left Castilla protecting their advantage with ten men.

Quicala equalised in the 85th minute despite Gonzalez’s earlier saves. Aviles also lost Isi Ros to a stoppage-time dismissal, and another late Gonzalez stop helped Castilla preserve a point.
