Source publication date:
England's men's under-17s beat Estonia 2-0 to finish their League B qualifying group with two victories and one defeat. Liam Bramley's team had already lost the chance to reach the UEFA U17 EURO finals because of results in November's first qualifying round.
Ajay Tavares was sent off during the first half, leaving England to play with ten. Goalkeeper Ben Vickery kept Estonia out before Teddie Lamb broke the deadlock with a low finish in the 66th minute.
Harvey Higgins added England's second in the 90th minute. The Young Lions finished second in the group, three points behind Israel, who defeated the Faroe Islands in the other fixture.
